Suresh Raina joins the `Break the Beard` club for daughter Gracia
During the Indian Premier League 10, cricket fans have not only witnessed enthralling cricket matches but also some fun activities by their favorite cricketers.
One of such off the field activities was ‘Break the Beard’ which was kick-started by cricketers themselves. The look-change-game, later, set a trend on social media.
Gujarat Lions’ skipper Suresh Raina is latest cricketer who joined the `Break the Beard` club.
With very adorable caption, dedicated to his cute daughter Gracia, Raina uploaded a new picture with different look on Instagram.
The lefthanded batsman wrote-
"I realised tht my little daughter is not so fond of the beard so this 1 for you Gracia. Presenting my#BreakTheBeard look #newlook #summerlook."
The trend was started by Ravindra Jadeja which was later followed by Zaheer Khan, Haridik Pandya, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and others.
Jadeja, surprisingly set the trend while uploading his picture with new look. He took to Instagram uploaded a video with captioned, "Change the game on the field. Change the look in the dressing room. #BreakTheBeard #rajputboy #newlook #timeforchange #vivoipl #glvsrcb."
Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Hardik Pandya accepted the challenge and they changed their look after donned their beards.
Raina’s entry post IPL10 revived the trend once again which may go long in cricketing circle.
