The 52nd match of IPL 2017 had been played between Supergiant and Daredevils. The Delhi side turned out to be party poopers and defeated Pune by 7 runs. Manoj Tiwary’s 45-ball 60 went in vain as Delhi Daredevils denied Rising Pune Supergiant a chance to seal their spot in the IPL 2017 playoffs .

Zaheer Khan and Mohammed Shami turned out to be the pick of the bowlers.While Zaheer gave Pune the initial blows, Shami picked up the crucial wickets of Ben Stokes and Daniel Christian in the end. Tiwary played some scintillating shots and even hit two sixes in the final over. But that was just not enough for Pune to seal a victory this time. Delhi are out of playoff contention but they are looking to take Pune down with them as well.

Earlier Karun Nair made a crucial 64 to guide is side to decent total. Nair got good support from the likes of  Rishabh Pant and Marlon Samuels.Delhi have a pool of young talent vying for a place in Team India. Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer , Sanju Samson and Karun Nair have all shown what they are capable of.
