Dalit teenager gang raped in Firozabad

FIROZABAD: A 14-year-old dalit girl was allegedly gang raped by two upper caste men in Nuner Gadi village, which comes under Narkhi police station of Firozabad , on Monday. Both the accused are married.The survivor's father works in Noida, while she, a student of class IX, lives in Firozabad with her mother and other relatives. Police has sent the girl for medical examination. Her family lodged a police complaint after the girl narrated the entire incident to them.SO (Narkhi) Pradeep Yadav said, "The girl was admitted to District woman hospital for medical test and treatment. Manhunt is on to catch the second accused."

FIROZABAD: A 14-year-old dalit girl was allegedly gang raped by two upper caste men in Nuner Gadi village, which comes under Narkhi police station of Firozabad , on Monday. Police has sent the girl for medical examination. One of the accused was arrested immediately, while another is on run.According to police, the incident took place when the girl had gone to field on nature's call but was dragged in mustard field by assailants, who sexually assaulted her. One of the accused is her neighbours. The accused have been booked under POCSO Act, besides relevant sections of IPC and ST/SC Act.The accused have been identified as Monu (22) alias Munnesh, a resident of the same village and his friend Rohit (24). Both the accused are married.The survivor's father works in Noida, while she, a student of class IX, lives in Firozabad with her mother and other relatives. Her family lodged a police complaint after the girl narrated the entire incident to them.SO (Narkhi) Pradeep Yadav said, "The girl was admitted to District woman hospital for medical test and treatment. An FIR has been registered on the girl's mother's complaint. Manhunt is on to catch the second accused."
