Chill returns as minimum temperature dips to 8°C

AGRA: The city has witnessed sudden change in weather conditions as the minimum temperature , which had been rising continuously in the past few days, decreased to 8 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The sudden change is due to snowfall in hilly areas The weekend saw sudden drop in temperature during evening and morning hours. The dusty winds caused inconvenience to people who were out of their homes.According to MET department , cold winds will continue to blow for four more days and temperature may go down as well. The moisture will gradually decrease in 3-4 days, after which the mercury level will start soaring, the weatherman said.The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was 29.2 degrees Celsius, as cold winds continued to blow in the afternoon. The mercury had been rising in the past few days, with maximum and minimum temperatures recording nearly 3 degrees Celsius above normal.There was a decrease in the level of air pollution due to the wind.
