With the BJP coming to power in Uttar Pradesh, the work of broadening roads and highways are gaining momentum which did not take place for quite some time. Though Samajwadi Party did make flyovers and bridges that have helped in clearing traffic and made commuting easy but it did not do much to broaden the streets and highways. Administration has taken up the matter of broadening the Delhi-Agra National Highway-2 that had been experiencing broadening work since 2011 but till date not much has been achieved. It will not be out of context to mention that by 2012 this region had seen three flyovers coming up. Apart from that, there are many places in Agra city where religious structures have come up and created traffic chaos. Authorities are removing these structures which are creating traffic snarls. Also new administration is placing sign boards as they are grossly missing due to which often tourists and travelers are way led and reach to different destination.
