AHMEDABAD: Special Operation Group (SOG) of the city crime branch nabbed two accused involved in six-month-old murder wherein a youth Jesingh Thakore was brutally murdered for allegedly having an affair with wife of one of the accused Rakesh Jadeja 24 resident of Sabaramati.According to Assistant Commissioner of Police (SOG) BC Solanki it also came to light that the woman in question was foster sister to another accused Shantilal alias Bharat Thakore. "Both the accused have been handed over to Sabarmati police station for further legal action" added Solanki.SOG sources said Jesingh Thakore hailing from Modhera in Mehsana was unmarried and used to live with his sister in Sabarmati. "While working together he came into contact with Rakesh Jadeja and Bharat Thakore. The three often used to have liquor together at Vikram's liquor den in Sabarmati" added a source.In August 2016, while going home Rakesh saw his wife Chaya and Jesingh together kissing each other behind a bush near Acher crematorium. "Furious over catching his wife red-handed Rakesh beat up Chaya. Chaya then left Rakesh and went to live with her parents" added ACP Solanki.Meanwhile Rakesh, informed Bharat about catching his wife red handed with Jesingh. Bharat was also angry as he considered Chaya as his sister. "Both then went to Jesingh who used to live nearby and threatened him with dire consequences if tries to meet Chaya" a source added.ACP Solanki said on the night of 2nd August 2016 Rakesh saw Jesingh at the liquor den of Vikram. "However as Vikram declined to give liquor as Jesingh already had not paid money for the liquor he had purchased earlier. Rakesh saw dejected Jesingh going back towards the crematorium and thought that this is the right time to kill him" said Solanki.SOG sources said Rakesh pulled out a knife and hurriedly called up Bharat to come near the crematorium. "Both then intercepted Jesingh and stabbed him repeatedly killing on the spot. They dragged his body and kept it near light pole and went away" said a police source.Next morning when the cops rushed to the spot, both Rakesh and Bharat went there to know what was happening. 'However after we got a tip off that Jesingh had an affair with Rakesh's wife we put both under surveillance and nabbed them" added ACP Solanki.
