Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, February 25In what appears to be unprecedented, the Amritsar Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHARA) held its meeting in a Hop-on, Hop-off bus here today. The AHARA president, APS Chatha, said a long-pending demand of the hospitality industry was met with opening of Heritage Road, Gobindgarh Fort, Heritage Village and introduction of Hop-on, Hop-off buses. They said during their limited hours stay tourists visited the holiest Sikh shrine and witnessed the Retreat Ceremony at the Attari-Wagah Joint Post. They said Hop-on, Hop-off buses connected famous and popular tourist spots like Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana Temple, summer palace in Ram Bagh, Gobindgarh Fort and Heritage Village in Guru Nanak Dev University. Now, as the number of tourist spots has increased, so did the stay of tourists in the city.
