Police rescue 3 women from brothel

The rescued women have been sent to correction home.Police said that they have recovered stocks of condoms as well as Rs 12,000 in cash from the alleged brothel owner's possession. Accordingly, the crime branch personnel led by assistant police inspector(API) Archana Patil, laid a trap around the woman residence. Aurangabad: On Tuesday evening, the crime branch of the city police rescued three women following a raid on a brothel run in Swarajnagar house in the airport area.The girls rescued are in the age group of 18 to 20 years.A police official said that they were informed that the brothel is being run by Sangita Khare alias Sangita Shejwal (35) in her house. At around 10 pm on Tuesday, two decoys including a policeman found five people including the brothel operator woman, a customer and three women victims.The decoy subsequently alerted the API Patil who along with her team raided the place and arrested the brothel owner as well as the customer under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act (PITA). At her residence, two rooms were specially prepared for the prostitution purpose.
