Student jumps from second floor, complaint against school

The student jumped from the second floor of the school building and was admitted to a private hospital with multiple fractures. The boys parents approached the police seeking action against the school management, but the police turned them away. The parents moved court and filed a private complaint. “We have taken up a case based on a direction from a court and will investigate the complaint,” a senior police officer said. The Yelahanka police have registered a case against the management of a reputed school where a 9th standard student attempted suicide in February this year after being reprimanded by the principal for creating nuisance.
