Activists join hands to form pressure group Vichar Madhya Pradesh

"We will also work on the issues of health, malnutrition and education among others and expose scams of the state. BHOPAL: A group of whistleblowers of Madhya Pradesh and activists have joined hands and formed Vichar MP to create a pressure group They include Paras Sakhlecha ( former independent MLA) , r Anand Rai ( vyapam RTI activist), Vinayak Parihar (working against sand mining), Ajay Dube and Prashant Pandey ( both RTI activists) Akshay Hunka, Aap national spokesman among others. We will also raise issues of farmers," he said.Parihar, a Narsinghpur based activist working against illegal sand mining said, "the government must answer on the increasing debt on the state. "Dr Anand Rai said, "the pressure group will expose the corrupt practices of the state government as people of the state are frustrated by the rising level of corruption. We also want to know the details of the use and abuse of the government aeroplanes and choppers.

We will also raise issues of farmers," he said.Parihar, a Narsinghpur based activist working against illegal sand mining said, "the government must answer on the increasing debt on the state. Every year the debt figure is on the rise and the government is indulging in abuse of funds. We want an answer on why should a cabinet meet be held at Hanuwantiya on cruise. We also want to know the details of the use and abuse of the government aeroplanes and choppers."Dr Anand Rai said, "the pressure group will expose the corrupt practices of the state government as people of the state are frustrated by the rising level of corruption."Akshay Hunka said, "The future of thousands of students is in dark after Vyapam scam but the culprits are yet to be punished, Now the river Narmada's future is at stake after large scale illegal sand mining from the river, proposed coca cola plant on the river bank and Chutka power plant also on the river bank."Other members of Vichar Madhya Pradesh include Shashank Shekhar (secretary, Jabalpur High Court Bar Association ), Rajkumar Sinha, Sanjay Nagaich and Santiosh Dwivedi among others.Two retired civil servants- Vijay Vate a retired IPS officer and Azad Singh Dabas, retired IFS officer joined the activists.
