BHOPAL: The Budget session of Madhya Pradesh assembly is likely to end early with ruling party clearing major budget proposals of the departments and tabling financial bill for the coming year 2017-18.The Budget session began on February 21 with the address of governor. "The finance minister tabled appropriation bill , on Wednesday whereas departments have also moved cut motions for early clearance. On March 1, finance minister presented the state budget, however, the house was adjourned after 13 days of discussion in 18 days for festival break due to Holi and Rangpanchmi celebrations across the state. If the finance bill and department demands were cleared in the house in two days, the house would be adjourned for indefinite period on March 24'', said officials of the state assembly.Law makers from both the parties observed that the session must continue till the month end, but due to the chaos it may end on Friday. "In view of the opposition party's protest inside the house, leaving the ruling party on the back foot, the house could end sine die by March 24, however, some members are willing to continue the proceedings till March 31, the scheduled date of running the session, they said adding that major work is being done in two days.
