Batting first, hosts rode on Ramanpreet Kaur’s 92-run knock to score 206/9 in 50 overs. Amritsar, in reply, were all out for 49 runs in just 19.2 overs as Daljit and Lakhvir made regular intrusions into the side. Daljit returned with the figures of 4/7, while leg-spinner Lakhvir picked 3/11. Sukhpreet (1/12) and Ramanpreet (1/11) claimed a wicket each. Pragati was the top scorer for Amritsar with 17 runs. Earlier, Moga had a shaky start to their innings as opener Navdeep was caught by Pragati off Neetu before she could even open her account. Ramanpreet then joined Akshita and the stabilised the innings with a 96-run partnership before Manpreet struck for Amritsar. Akshita was dismissed after a painstaking 28. Avreet Kaur, who walked in at the fall of Akshita’s wickets, did not last long, falling prey to Manpreet on nine. Manpreet claimed her third wicket when she removed Palak for naught. Ramanpreet and Gazal then played sensibly and took the score past 150-mark. However, the 39-run partnership between the two came to end after Ramanpreet fell to Pragati on 92 runs. Her 98-ball stay in the middle was studded with 11 hits to the fence. Gazal was run out by Neetu for 30. The hosts finally closed their innings at 206/9. Moga innings ended on 206/9 in 50 overs.
