Baahubali 2: Want to ensure you will hear Kattappa’s secret on first day itself? Take a charity route

CHENNAI: The young beneficiaries of Make-A-Wish Foundation India now have a full-fledged celebrity crew helping them realise their dreams. Those who fund larger amounts will also get tickets to the first day shows of the film. The movie will reveal why Kattappa killed Baahubali, as shown at the end of the first part of the movie which was released in 2015. "I see this as a new shift, wherein an Indian movie brand is demonstrating that it has a social obligation. We've been in talks with Team Baahubali from last year, when four kids with life threatening diseases and their parents were taken to the sets of Baahubali and spent the whole day with Prabhas, playing with him and interacting with the crew.

CHENNAI: The young beneficiaries of Make-A-Wish Foundation India now have a full-fledged celebrity crew helping them realise their dreams. The Mumbai-based NGO, which works towards granting the wishes of kids living with life-threatening illnesses, will now have Team Baahubali -The Conclusion, and crowdfunding platform Fuel A Dream - to help raise money for its children The initiative allows fans of the movie and those who want to fund a charity contribute amounts ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1 lakh for the cause, and in turn, get unique rewards including T-shirts autographed by SS Rajamouli, director, and the stars of the film, Prabhas and Rana. Those who fund larger amounts will also get tickets to the first day shows of the film."I see this as a new shift, wherein an Indian movie brand is demonstrating that it has a social obligation. We've been in talks with Team Baahubali from last year, when four kids with life threatening diseases and their parents were taken to the sets of Baahubali and spent the whole day with Prabhas, playing with him and interacting with the crew. The team then expressed its interest to do more for the cause and that is when we've decided to roll this out as a crowdfunding campaign," says Ranganath Thota, founder, Fuel A Dream."We are confident that all Indians will come forth to support our cause in a big way to ensure that their contributions enable us to grant almost 10,000 wishes per annum," says Deepak S Bhatia, CEO of Make-A- Wish India.The campaign, which began on March 24, will continue till the end of April.Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will be released on April 28. The movie will reveal why Kattappa killed Baahubali, as shown at the end of the first part of the movie which was released in 2015.
