Khalsa college postpones event after Ramjas protests

New Delhi: After the cancellation of Umar Khalid’s event in Ramjas College, SGTB Khalsa College has decided to postpone a street-play competition till normalcy returns to North Campus of Delhi University. There had been a lot of pressure from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad students to cancel Umar Khalid’s event and even led to clashes outside college.

New Delhi: After the cancellation of Umar Khalid’s event in Ramjas College, SGTB Khalsa College has decided to postpone a street-play competition till normalcy returns to North Campus of Delhi University. There had been a lot of pressure from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad students to cancel Umar Khalid’s event and even led to clashes outside college. The Khalsa college staff had already been warned by the ABVP led Delhi University Student Union. There has been a lot of tension prevailing across Delhi University’s North Campus since the Ramjas incident and protests are being held against the unprofessional conduct by Police.
