EC notice to Kejri

Panaji: The election commission of India, New Delhi, issued Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal a notice following an online complaint by the BJP and forwarded by the chief election officer, Goa, alleging that he deliberately instigated the public to accept bribes for votes during his speech on January 8 at Mapusa. He has thereby violated provisions of the model code of conduct for by committing an offence of bribery during the electoral process.Kejriwal had publicly told the electorate to accept money from the BJP, Congress and Dhavalikars camps, but to vote for AAP instead.
