Inquiry against Cotton College State University teacher

GUWAHATI: The state government has instituted a magisterial inquiry to probe allegations that a teacher of Cotton College State University (CCSU) had threatened students A CCSU student said the teacher had threatened the class for lodging a complaint against irregular attendance. Following protests by a section of university students, the Kamrup (Metro) district administration instituted the magisterial inquiry. Registrar of CCSU Shikhar Sarma said an internal committee of the university had been probing the matter.
