TS retired police officers’ building inaugurated

Mr. Sharma said the new office would provide for a pleasant and modern environment unlike the old building.

Mr. Sharma said the new office would provide for a pleasant and modern environment unlike the old building. Telangana MP A.P. Jitender Reddy, the son of late police officer A.P. Ramchandrareddy, would donate ?10,000 every month as part of his contribution to maintain the building, said a press release on Sunday. Principle Secretary (Home) Rajiv Trivedi, who was also present at the event, remembered his old days when he joined as a trainee and worked as the ASP in Ranga Reddy district. Venkat Rao, president of the TRPOA Telangana, said he was grateful to Mr. Sharma, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Hyderabad Police Commissioner for providing a place to build the office in a peaceful environment. Others who were present at the inauguration were Inspector General of Police (retired) Bhasker Reddy and former DGP A.K. Mohanty.
