GHMC seizes another hotel in Hyderabad for serving rotten meat, leftover Biryani

Hyderabad: GHMC officials on Tuesday seized a restaurant at Habsiguda for using rotten meat, storing leftover Biryani and cooking in unhygienic conditions. During inspection GHMC officials found that Sri Ruchi Bawarchi at Habsiguda street number 8 was using meat that had stored for over a week and leftover Biryani. The owner gave the excuse that they were about to dispose of the stock, but it was already lunch time. According to an official, the restaurant’s license had expired in March 2016 and was operating illegally. The officials also found the kitchen in a poor state of hygiene.
