BJP to celebrate September 17 as Liberation Day

Laxman said the excesses of Razakars in the Nizam Dominion during the transition to independent India led to struggles in which several people lost lives. Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya said the Indian soldiers were prepared to repulse any attack by China at Doklam.

The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi has made all eforts to suppress the history of struggle of the people of the erstwhile Hyderabad State who fought to free the State from the clutches of Nizam and Razakars. The TRS bowing to pressure from Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen has suppressed the realities. Therefore, the BJP will observe September 17 as Liberation Day in all villages, Dr. Laxman added.
