LUCKNOW: The video of a government school principal allegedly forcing a student to paint the school’s wall went viral on social media on Wednesday. The video, shot in an upper primary government school in Faizullaganj area, shows a woman holding a stick in hand while a boy is seen painting the school’s wall. After the video went viral, a probe was ordered by the Basic Shiksha Adhikari Amarkant Singh. Raising a questioning on the condition of government upper primary schools in state, the video took rounds of social media throughout the day.It began with a shot on the school campus where a boy, claimed to be the school student, was heard saying that he has to paint the wall after repairing, while he was applying putty on the wall.The video also claimed that three students of class VII, Ayush, Manish and Sudarshan and one student of class VIII Shahban is made to paint the school wall by the principal. The teacher on the campus is also being asked whether she is getting the painting done in the viral video “A committee has been formed to probe the matter. The team will visit the school to find out whether the boy shown in the video is from the school. Strict action will be taken against all those involved in the video is found to be authentic,” said BSA Amarkant Singh.
