`Samajwadi` cut from Govt. ambulances after EC notice

Lucknow: After Election Commission ‘s notice, the word Samajwadi has been removed from all the 1488 ambulances currently operating in the state of Uttar Pradesh. BJP’S election campaign incharge in UP, JPS Rathode had lodged a complaint to the election commission that the word used on Ambulances was not in accordance with the code of conduct. Following his complaint, the election commission has ordered the removal of the word “Samajwadi” from all the ambulances.
