The driver who noticed it, suddenly stopped the bus and asked all the passengers to get down.As soon as the passengers got out of the bus, the entire bus went up in flames. The bus was carrying 30 passengers from Dharamsthala to Bengaluru.As it reached Shirady Ghat, smoke started coming out from the engine. The vehicles were seen callously moving past the burning bus despite a warning from passengers who had alighted from the bus. Mangaluru/Hassan: Presence of mind of a KSRTC driver saved the lives of around 30 Benglauru-bound passengers after the bus they were travelling in went up in flames due to short circuit near Shirady Ghats on Saturday.The incident occurred at around 11.45 am, according to police personnel of Sakleshpur rural police station. Firefighters and KSRTC officials were called in to douse the fire and also to find out reason for the accident.Soon after the incident, a video of the bus going up in flames started circulating on social media .
