Middle-aged man killed in celebratory firing in Bijnor

He fell on the spot and died instantly.People rushed Chandarpal to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.An FIR was registered on Friday by police and the body was sent for post mortem examination. Nanak was booked on the basis of a complaint filed by the deceased’s uncle Ram Singh Saini.“An FIR has been registered against Nanak and he will be arrested soon,” said Durgesh Kumar, station house officer (SHO) of Noorpur police stations.After several deaths over the years, most of the districts of Uttar Pradesh have clamped a ban on celebratory firing during functions.
