Man attacked by tiger in South Kheri

SHAHJAHAN: A man was attacked by a tiger in Mailani range of South Kheri forest on Tuesday evening. Also, we were not able to trace any pugmarks of tiger near the village," Akhilesh Pandey, DFO South Kheri , said.Residents also raised their concern on presence of tiger near their village and asked the officials to take necessary steps to prevent attacks. However, the victim was not able to confirm the exact spot where the tiger attacked him, officials said. The man is not able to confirm the exact location. We are not sure whether the incident happened in Kishanpur sanctuary or near the village.

However, the victim was not able to confirm the exact spot where the tiger attacked him, officials said."We are investigating the incident. We are not sure whether the incident happened in Kishanpur sanctuary or near the village. The man is not able to confirm the exact location.
