Five held in idol theft caseFive persons were nabbed by the Idol Wing (Criminal Investigation Department) of the Tamil Nadu police in a covert operation here on Thursday. A panchaloha idol of Vinayaka estimated at ?4 crore was seized from the accused. The names of the accused were given as N. Gnanasekaran of Ariyankuppam in Puducherry, V. Mukunthan Sharma of Manjakuppam in Cuddalore, N. Vinodh, S. Senthil and A . Raja, all from Mayiladuthurai.
