Nitish takes his Message of Prohibition to Chhattisgarh

After succeeding in implementing prohibition in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar makes his move to expand his version of the `Ram Rajya` to other states as he indulged in some self-praise saying only 3-4 women in Bihar asked him to stop the sale and use of alcohol in the state and he wasted no time in obliging them.Speaking before a large crowd in Raipur at an event organized by the Kurmi community, the caste of Kumar, the Chief Minister said that while speaking at a women`s convention in Patna in July 2015, four or five women shouted from the back seat to implement prohibition in Bihar.  He told how people of Bihar are happier and content now. On the occasion, Kumar administered oath to more than 20,000 people to stay away from alcohol for life.

Speaking before a large crowd in Raipur at an event organized by the Kurmi community, the caste of Kumar, the Chief Minister said that while speaking at a women`s convention in Patna in July 2015, four or five women shouted from the back seat to implement prohibition in Bihar. "I announced then and there that I would fulfill their wish. Not only I kept my promise, I also succeeded in passing the toughest prohibition law in the country," the Janata Dal – U leader said. Kumar also talked about how Bihar had changed for good due to his tough prohibition policies."People told me that the state would lose more than Rs. 5,000 crore in revenue due to ban on the sale of liquor in Bihar but I did not listen to anyone. I went ahead and imposed prohibition in the state. Today people are much happier and content.

On the occasion, Kumar administered oath to more than 20,000 people to stay away from alcohol for life.
