J P Nadda takes on HP government

Nadda said that six trauma centres were approved for the state but work could not be started on them. SHIMLA: Taking on the Congress government in the state, Union health minister J P Nadda on Sunday said that Centre had approved a Rs 10-crore Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project but the state government had not been able to locate the land required for this project.Interacting with mediapersons in Shimla, Nadda said that he himself had sanctioned the project for Shimla after the outbreak of jaundice with the objective to prevent future occurrence of such water-borne diseases.He quipped that it had been over a year since the project was sanctioned but till date the state government had not been able to earmark the land for the project.
