Srinagar: The residents of Bar Bar Shah area of Srinagar are worried about the growing incidents of burglary in the area. A delegation of the residents while talking to The Kashmir Monitor said: “In last 10 days, 7 incidents of burglary took place in the area but police is doing nothing to stop these incidents,” said Sajad Ahmad, a local resident. According to the locals, a group of highly professional burglars is operating in the area and they have let loose a reign of terror. “We had several times apprised police about the matter but they have failed to nab the thieves. We appeal SSP Srinagar to look into the matter and direct the concerned to restore sense of security in the locality,” they said.
