Surat: A class XII girl student attempted suicide by drinking phenyl following exam tension in Pandesara on Tuesday. Last year she had failed in English subject and was scared of give exam this year. However, timely treatment saved the girl, who was admitted to New Civil Hospital (NCH) .According to NCH officials, Ravina Santoshkumar, resident of VishnuNagar in Pandesara was appearing for class XII for the second time after she failed in the first attempt last year. She was scared that she would fail again," said her Ravina's father Santosh. "After studying for the full night at her residence she drank phenyl in her room.
