TALE OF WOE: College students staging a road roko in Tiruchi on Tuesday. A group of students of the Periyar EVR College staged a protest here on Tuesday. Sources said a group of students staged a sit-in stir inside the college in support of their demands. The students withdrew their stir after an assurance. Later, they came outside their college and staged a road roko.

Sources said a group of students staged a sit-in stir inside the college in support of their demands. They alleged hat scholarship for SC and ST students had not been given. Later, they came outside their college and staged a road roko. Officials from the Adi Dravidar Welfare and police departments came to the spot and heard the grievance of the students. The students withdrew their stir after an assurance.
