Body found in train: FIR against two

FIR has been lodged against Vidur, a native of Bihar, and Dinesh Yadav of Etawah district whose names figured in the suicide note. The suicide note was recovered from the luggage of the girl.However, the girl's brother Saurabh Mishra, a chartered accountant at Unnao, said that the writing of suicide note does not match with his sister's handwriting. The sealed postmortem report has been sent to senior authorities in Allahabad. The position of her body in the toilet also suggests that it can't be a case of suicide, Saurabh told TOI over phone. Whether it is a case of suicide or murder would be cleared after examination of postmortem report.

VARANASI: The Government Railway Police , Mirzapur are yet to get any breakthrough in mysterious case of recovery of the body of a 22-year-old girl in a train's toilet . A named FIR against two persons was lodged under section 306 of IPC in this connection. The Mirzapur GRP has sent the postmortem report in a sealed envelop to Allahabad headquarters The body of Shikha Mishra, a native of Mahoi village in Kannauj district, was found in the toilet of S2 coach of Toofan express at Mirzapur station on Tuesday. Her neck was found tied with the toilets pipe and while her knees were touching the floor, when the GRP personnel opened the door. The door was not locked from inside.The GRP inspector at Mirzapur Hawaldar Singh Yadav told TOI over phone that the matter is being investigated. Later she also had a chat with her aunty over phone at around 12:30 pm. She did not pick up calls after 5:50 pm and later her phone went off, he said. The GRP informed about the recovery of her body in train's toilet, he said. The train in which she was travelling left Kanpur at around 11pm on Monday night.For the preparation of IIT examination Shikha had been living in a hostel in Baradevi area of Kanpur for past seven months. She had done her schooling in Unnao and graduation in Kanpur.
