His recent visit to Uddanam in Srikakulam, which records a maximum number of kidney patients in the State, had forced the government to act on the issue. The Medical and Health Minister had hurriedly announced measures being taken to help the kidney patients in the area. More than 50 eminent personalities from various fields are slated to address the conference. Jammu and Kashmir former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, former Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) Vinod Rai, The Max Group founder and Chairman Emeritus Analjit Singh, National Institute of Urban Affair Director Jagan Shah, film maker Deepa Mehta, former Solicitor General of India Harish Salve and others will address the conference.
