Two burglars arrested

The police recovered gold ornaments in six of the eight housebreakings. The duo who have been evading the police for the past one year, were finally arrested near Rajivnagar flyover on Monday. The crime wing of the city police on Monday arrested two persons allegedly involved in eight housebreaking incidents reported between November 2015 and December 2016. According to DCP (Crimes) T. Ravi Kumar Murthy, a special team was formed to nab the burglars. The police also recovered 200 grams of gold ornaments from them.

The police also recovered 200 grams of gold ornaments from them. The arrested were identified as Vandana Madhu (35) and Koppala Prasad (21), both are residents of Relli Veedhi of Vizianagaram town and worked as part-time workers at a pharmaceutical unit. ACP (South) J. Rammohan Rao said the duo had mostly committed the crime under Paravada and Duvvada police station limits in the south sub-division. According to DCP (Crimes) T. Ravi Kumar Murthy, a special team was formed to nab the burglars. The duo who have been evading the police for the past one year, were finally arrested near Rajivnagar flyover on Monday. The police recovered gold ornaments in six of the eight housebreakings. The remaining gold will also be recovered from them, said the DCP.
