Vishal Kundra, Smart City project management consultant said the VUO will monitor urban dynamics at the local level.TNN Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Urban Observatory (VUO) will play an important role in improving the smartness of the city, said Visakhapatnam Port Trust chairman MT Krishnababu during a workshop on Tuesday.The workshop was held under the aegis of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) with key stakeholders to identify the focal theme and implementation strategy, setting up a steering committee, formulate a business plan for VUO and engage potential investors and partners to set up the urban observatory. GVMC in-charge commissioner and Vuda vice-chairman T Baburao Naidu said the VUO team to adopt the best practices with real time data regarding weather and transport.
