IPEC rated grade

IPEC rated grade "A" Swayam-NPTEL Local Chapter being 3rd in NCR


IPEC is rated GRADE "A" Swayam-NPTEL Local Chapter in the Top 100 Local Chapters, selected out of 1778 total chapters PAN India. Not just this but also IPEC has grabbed 3rd Position in NCR.

Inderprastha Engineering College has touched new heights of success every semester and has been recognized by NPTEL IIT Madras, NPTEL IIT Kanpur and Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University for the excellence of students & faculty members in NPTEL online courses. Recently it has been rated grade “A”Swayam-NPTEL Local chapter among top 100 out of 1778 local chapters PAN India in the ranking declared by IIT Madras in June,18.

SWAYAM is the National MOOCs portal being developed by MHRD, Govt. of India. In order to ensure best quality content is produced and delivered, seven National Coordinators have been appointed under SWAYAM. NPTEL is the official SWAYAM national coordinator for engineering. National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning is an initiative by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for creating course contents in engineering and science.

A team of 6 faculty members under the leadership of SPOC Priyanka D. Gupta is working dynamically at the campus to promote the maximum participation of IPEC students by organizing Awareness workshops for the students & faculty members frequently, classroom interactions and personal interaction department wise time to time.

Faculty of different departments in IPEC is committed to serve the students at the level of their best by mentoring students for different NPTEL online courses. Every semester faculty members are being recognized with “Certification of Appreciation” by NPTEL,IIT Madras. In this series of success, Prof. Pradeep Kumar Barnwal from ME Department is badged as “Top Performing Mentor”  in 2017 for the course “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning”
