Meet Dr. Umesh Gautam, Chancellor Invertis University, in an exclusive conversation with NYOOOZ.

Q1. These days education is seen as a profitable commodity, what is your take on it?

I have been associated with the field of education for 18 years and people take education like a business. But I have a different perspective I take it as a service to mankind. I have always taken education and medical field to serve people.

Q2. As a chancellor of Invertis University, how do you wish to make education here different from others?

As a chancellor, I have prioritized that students at Invertis should get the supreme quality of education which they cannot get anywhere in India. I want my students to receive the best of the lot so that they do not lag behind in any way.

Q3. The university offers placement in which courses?

There is placement facility for all the courses, no matter if it`s B. Tech. or Law or Architecture. As seen that courses like BBA, BCA and B. Com, most of the colleges do not provide any job, but at Invertis a job is provided to them along with the stipend, therefore we concentrate on all courses. We have also collaborated with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), and students can get jobs with the listed companies.

Q4. How should students choose a course after 12th?

Students should only and only concentrate on what they want. They shouldn’t choose a field because their parents want them to. 90% of students choose a forcible career. It shouldn’t go that if my father is a doctor hence I have to be a doctor or my father is an engineer so I’ll be an engineer too. Choose a career that they think suits them.

With a vision to impart the best education in the country and encouraging students to choose a career of their choice makes Invertis University stand apart from the crowd.
