Indian Navy invites applications of eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment in the post of Scientific Assistant, Group `B`, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted posts in Naval Units/formations anywhere in India. The last date of application is January 15, 2021.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years. Age Relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC, Maximum 10 years for PwBDs.

Pay Scale: ? 35400 – 112400 Level 6

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Sc. Degree in Physics or Chemistry or Electronics or Oceanography.
  •  Minimum of 03 year`s relevant experience.

Selection Process:

  • Shortlisting of Applications
  • Written Examination

Exam Pattern:

  • General English- 10 marks
  • Numerical Aptitude- 10 marks
  • General Intelligence / Awareness and Reasoning- 10 marks
  • Science and Technology- 20 marks
  • Awareness in relevant Trades / Field- 50 marks

 


How to Apply: Eligible candidates apply in prescribed application format, printed on plain paper (A4 Size) either neatly handwritten or typed. Application complete in all respects, affixed with latest passport size colour photograph duly self-attested on the font size. The completed applications addressed to "The Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Headquarters, Western Naval Command (for SO `CP`), Ballard Estate, Near Tiger Gate, Mumbai - 400001" by Registered / Speed post only. The postal cover envelope super scribed as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF "SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT" and CATEGORY "____". The last date will be 15/01/2021.
