West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) Kolkata invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of Fishery Extension Officer in West Bengal Junior Fisheries Service Grade II. The closing date for receipt of online applications is 17th March 2021.

Name of the Post: Fisheries Extension Officer

Total Vacancies: 100

Age Limit:

Not more than 39 years as of 01.01.2021.

The upper age limit shall be relaxable for persons holding substantive appointments under the Govt. of West Bengal or Govt. of India and also for exceptionally well-qualified and experienced candidates.

Pay Scales:

Pay Matrix Level 10 ? 32,100 – 82,900/- as per WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2019.

Educational Qualifications:

* Must have Four Year Bachelor’s Degree in Fishery Science from a recognized University.

 * Must have knowledge of Fisheries, Aquaculture, Aquatic Resources, and Fishing Harbour in West Bengal.

* Must be able to read and write Bengali or Nepali.

Application Fee:

? 160/- only for General / BC candidate of West Bengal.

 No fee for SC, ST candidates of West Bengal and P.W.D.

 No exemption of fee is available to SC / ST candidates of other states.

Selection Process:

* Preliminary Screening Test (PST)

*  Interview
