Priyanka Chopra trolled for calling Sikkim a insurgency hit; apologises later

Priyanka Chopra has courted a lot of controversies, recently, this time also when she said her movie 'Pahuna' was a ground-breaking achievement in a state like Sikkim brought a lot of criticism on social media. And Twitteratis chose to troll her.   

A recent interview of Priyanka Chopra landed her in a trouble on social media for which she apologised later.

While talking about how Pahuna was a ground-breaking achievement in a state like Sikkim, she said, "Sikkim is a small state in the North-east of India which never had a film industry or anyone who made films from the region. This is the first film ever that's come out of that region, because it's very troubled with insurgency and troubling situations."

Well, this didn’t go well with the Twitteratis and they were not ready to forgive her as apart from this, the actress is also being called out for claiming that her film is the first Sikkimese film.

This is not the first time earlier also, Priyanka has courted a lot of controversies for which has been trolled on social media.
