"Padmavati' row: CBFC clears the film, Rajputs still OPPOSE

Inspite of the modifications Rajput Sena is still opposing its release.

Yesterday, we brought you that the Censor Board is ready to clear ‘Padmavati’ with a few cuts and by changing its title to ‘Pamavat.’

But inspite of the modifications Rajput Sena is still opposing its release.

Yes, Arvind Singh Mewar, a scion of the Mewar royal family who was a member of an advisory panel constituted by the CBFC to review ‘Padmavati’, said

"The film has real-life characters and historic figures highly revered even today by the people, especially in Mewar. What they want to show by such a movie is beyond my understanding. The movie makers are neither with the Rajputs nor the Muslims, so where lies their loyalty?"

Well, now we seriously wonder what’s the fate of this film?
