The season of love is here and to shower love to your best person does not always mean that you should heed to a crowded expensive destination for an enriching experience. The most important thing to make your Valentine date a memorable experience is by taking care of your body so that you do not suffer from unwarranted tummy troubles or bloating or bad breath. They can really turn you off and the only way to avoid each of these is to be careful of what you include in your diet today and tomorrow.

Coffee is not your best friend before a date

Coffee is the most obvious drink on a date. It is the first thing you will order if your date is late or if there is time for a formal dinner. Skip your mandatory cup of coffee on Valentine's Day and go for a cup of green tea instead. Coffee although will keep you going through the day but can act foul to your breath. Coffee has a strong smell that tends to sit in the mouth for a long time. Overloading on coffee is not a good idea

Do not turn your appetite and breathe Garlicky

Garlic almost is a common ingredient in all Indian, Mughlai or Mediterranean dish. Avoiding it will be difficult. Try to avoid a cuisine that is too garlicky or spicy in nature. Garlic works wonder for your appetite but will heat up your body and might even make you horny. So if you are considering a breezy and easy romance, consider avoiding garlic and other odorous vegetables like onions must also be avoided. If you must eat them, then make sure you have brushed your teeth thoroughly and keep a mouth freshener handy.

Skip the fries loaded with oil and salt

If a quiet date at your home netflixing with the love of your life is your idea of date than refrain from the obvious choices of snacks like friends and chips. Foods with excessive salt in them, like potato chips and crisps, as well as all fried snacks may cause bloating. Instead opt for munching on healthier snacking options like nuts and dark chocolate or popcorn. Dark chocolate will also ignite your senses for a whirlwind romance in the quiet of the night.

Chuck the cheese

Overloaded pizza with a hell lot of cheese can be your comfort food only if you are single on a Valentine’s Day. The two main culprits here are the salt and the fatty cheese. While salt causes water retention making you feel heavy, cheese is hard to digest and hence, can cause bloating. You will never want yourself panting for breaths when lovemaking to your partner

Freeze the fizz for another day

Beverages that are loaded with sugar and fizz is not our option on a valentine’s day or any day. They bloat your body, made you feel full, cut on your appetite and suck out all that energy you have stacked up for the day. Opt for a non-fizzy packaged drink or better still, natural fruit juices instead.

 

Wearing the best dress, looking your best for your sweetheart isn’t enough. Don't just look sharp, feel great too on your important day.
