Ever since the Pakistani actress Mahira Khan made her debut with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’, she had been headlines for various reasons. Recently, her smoking viral pic with Ranbir Kapoor courted a controversy.

However, this time, she is in news for her professional life. She will soon be seen in the film titled ‘7 Din Mohabbat In (7DMI)’, along with Sheheryar Minawar.

The first look of Mahira's character Neeli was recently unveiled by the makers and it has taken the Internet by storm.

Mahira even took to her Twitter account to reveal the first look of Neeli and shared it with her fans.

While Sheheryar will be seen playing the lead Tipu, Mahira will be seen essaying the character called Neeli.  

The movie is directed by Meenu and Farjad, the film is to hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. 

Mahira was last seen opposite to Shah Rukh Khan in the 2017 film 'Raees'. Her performance was much appreciated and her chemistry with SRK too won hearts in the country.

As per reports that are doing the rounds, Mahira's character Neeli is that of Tipu's cousin who's also his best friend. She's an affectionate and spirited girl who likes to live in her own world of fairytales. The film is a romantic comedy. 

Unfortunately, due to the ban on Pakistani artists from working in India in the wake of the Uri attacks, the actress couldn't sign up for more Bollywood films.
