The versatile actress will be receiving a Dadasaheb Excellence Award, for the Best Leading Lady (Critics Award) for her memorable performance in 'Bhoomi'.

The award ceremony is scheduled on April 21, 2018, at St. Andrews Auditorium in Mumbai. It will be attended by producers, directors, distributors and exhibitors among others from the film fraternity.

Besides Aditi, actress, producer Anushka Sharma will also be receiving Dadasaheb excellence Award.

The film also starred Sanjay Dutt and was about the protective father who saved his daughter from all the evils that surrounded her.

In an earlier interview to a leading daily, Aditi said, "There will be a fleeting regret or a fleeting thought over a role that I lost out on but this feeling passes by very quickly. I actually feel there are so many people who struggle to do good work here [in the film industry]. Forget good work, just work. There are various reasons that are not in your control. Maybe, I didn’t know the people or I didn’t even know the project was happening or I didn’t have the right backing, so I can’t always look back and sulk."

Coming back to Aditi’s big achievement, congratulations to her. Way to go girl!
