Undoubtedly, the two superheroes are exceptional, but who would you like to see in Avengers? Nagraj who is the very first superhero, created by Raj Comics in 1986 was regarded as the nemesis of all terrorists. Nagraj, the king of snakes’ blood cells have the power of snakes who had his area of operation in a fictional city named as Mahanagar. Spidey has vowed to use his powers to help people.
The Marvel universe’s ‘Spiderman’ and Raj Comics’ ‘Nagraj’ have always been widely discussed. Be it their strength or powers, the two characters have garnered a lot of attention of comic lovers, over the years.
‘Nagraj’ and ‘Spiderman’ are absolutely phenomenal creation of the superhero world. One can’t just get enough of these two characters’ thrilling stories at every page.
Before we compare the strengths and weaknesses of ‘Nagraj’ to know his ability to be a part of Avengers gang along with ‘Spiderman’, let’s have an introduction of Nagraj.
Nagraj
Nagraj who is the very first superhero, created by Raj Comics in 1986 was regarded as the nemesis of all terrorists. Nagraj, the king of snakes’ blood cells have the power of snakes who had his area of operation in a fictional city named as Mahanagar.
Nagraj doesn’t have a specific costume, but his body is covered with a snakeskin. Even his hair is set in a way that it forms an ‘S’ shape. He has high moral values. He drinks only milk, he thinks it’s cool and healthy to drink milk. He is known to go to bars and ask for milk (something the Phantom also did). Talking about his friends, ‘Panchnag’, a group of five superheroes are known to help Nagraj in the comic stories.
Well, this Indianised superhero sounds interesting and may be this is the reason why readers like him till now. Probably, many of them must’ve started visualising him on silver screen too.
But wait, don’t forget, the Marvel universe’s ‘Spiderman who has enormous modern powers to protect the innocent lives from the evils of the planet Earth.
Whereas if we talk about ‘Spiderman’, the modern superhero who is well aware about his responsibilities is pretty more adventurous and exciting.
Spiderman
Bitten by a radioactive spider, high school student Peter Parker gained the speed, strength and powers of a spider. Adopting the name Spider-Man, Peter hoped to start a career using his new abilities. Taught that with great power comes great responsibility, Spidey has vowed to use his powers to help people.
He is not only known for his ability to save the people from the destructive powers, Peter is an accomplished scientist, inventor and photographer.
Well, isn’t it impressive, what else we need in a thriving internet age?
The famous dialogue from Spiderman is, “With great power there must also come, great responsibility”, so let’s analyse the powers and responsibilities of two fabulous characters, ‘Nagraj’ and ‘Spiderman’.
Special powers
Nagraj- Nagraj has animal control, Blast power, chemical secretion and danger sense.
Spiderman- Mark of Kaine, Radio Frequency Detection, Spider sense, Wall-Crawling
Physical Powers
Nagraj- Super human smell, Super human stealth, Super human strength
Spiderman- Super human agility, Super human durability, Super human reflexes, Super human speed, Super human stamina, Super human strength, Superhuman Equilibrium
Weapons
Nagraj- Power Suit
Spiderman- Black Suit, Spider-Armor MK II, Spider-Armor MK III
Undoubtedly, the two superheroes are exceptional in their own field but lack of gadgets and equipment in the former’s case make it quite difficult for Nagraj to compete with Spidey in a modern age. However, it would be interesting to see him fighting along with Avengers gang with more specialised snake powers on silver screen.
