Priyanka Chopra visits Rohingya refugee camps; trolled on Twitter

However, instead of appreciating the actor for her humanitarian act, netizens chose to troll her for the lamest reasons. Read more details.

After visiting the Syrian kids in Jordan last year, Priyanka Chopra visited Rohingya refugee camps in Cox Bazar, Bangladesh.

She shared it on Twitter, in her post Priyanka wrote, “I’m in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh today for a field visit with UNICEF, to one of the largest refugee camps in the world. In the second half of 2017, the world saw horrific images of ethnic cleansing from the Rakhine State of Myanmar(Burma). This violence drove nearly 700,000 Rohingya across the border into Bangladesh – 60% are children!”

However, instead of appreciating the actor for her humanitarian act, netizens chose to troll her for the lamest reasons.

As a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, Priyanka’s itinerary in all probability gets decided by the UN program. Had UNICEF asked Priyanka to visit Kashmiri Pandit camps, it is unlikely that the Bollywood star would have refused.
