Uday Chopra owns a Rs 25 crore Hollywood Hills villa!

Uday's next production venture is Seducing Ingrid Berman, which revolves around the passionate relationship between the Hollywood icon and celebrated photojournalist Robert Capa. Jessica Chastain will play the lead role in the film.

The apple of the Chopra clan's eyes Uday Chopra owns a whopping 25 cr bungalow in Hollywood. What's so surprising about it? well, we all know that Mr Chopra is not doing so good in movies and has been keeping away from films since many years.

And now the news has suddenly started floating that the actor is selling his sprawling villa in the posh Hollywood Hills for a whopping $3.799 million (around Rs 25.47 crore). The luxurious pad boasts of, among other things, a saltwater pool and spa.

Uday, who was last seen on the big screen in Dhoom 3 (2013), has had a rather forgettable stint in front of the camera. With the exception of Mohabbatein and the Dhoom series, all of his films sank without a trace.

Do you know what he has been up to since then?

In an interview to a leading tabloid he said, "I wanted to do something other than acting and I was discussing options when my brother (Aditya Chopra) suggested that I could take our company, Yash Raj Films, international. I went to Los Angeles and enrolled in a production course at the University of California, Los Angeles. In the morning I attended industry meetings and in the evening, I would go for the course,"

Uday wanted to make a mark for himself as a producer, and in 2014, he produced 'The Longest Week', starring Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde. After that, he made Grace Of Monaco, starring Nicole Kidman, which opened the Cannes Film Festival in the same year. However, despite having a massive buzz surrounding it, the film was a critical and commercial failure.

Uday's next production venture is Seducing Ingrid Berman, which revolves around the passionate relationship between the Hollywood icon and celebrated photojournalist Robert Capa. Jessica Chastain will play the lead role in the film.

Well, seems like Uday Chopra is trying to find his feet in the west and here is how he is funding all the buying and selling of his properties overseas.
