However, the shooting may have wrapped up, but Bhumi is not over Chambal yet. There is something that’s keeping the actress attached to the village and makes her want to go back to the place again. On her day off, she went all the way to Chambal to visit an orphanage that is extremely close to her heart. While shooting for Son Chiriya, the actress got really attached to the locals in the valley. She ensured to spread happiness and love among the kids in Chambal on days when she wasn’t shooting.

A source who is closely associated with the ashram said,

“It was during this time that she discovered Abhyudaya, an ashram that really took care of the kids and ensured they were being looked after well and receiving all the basic facilities so that they could try and realise their dreams. She was deeply moved after meeting the kids staying at the ashram. The facility took care of the education of girl children in the valley and they were doing a great job in shaping these children. Post the shoot, she was eager to visit the place again and meet her little friends,”
