Thanks to controversy, Salman changes Aayush-Warina’s film title from ‘Love Ratri’ to ‘Love Yatri’

During the launch of Bigg Boss 12, Salman Khan had said that the title of the film was beautiful, and he cannot comprehend why few people have a problem with it

Salman Khan's brother-in-law will mark his debut in Bollywood with Love Ratri and has already garnered enough attention. A certain section of people was hurt with the title of the film which was rhyming with Navratri, a popular festival in India. This resulted in they filing a petition in a court in Muzzafarpur and the court asked the police officials to file an FIR against the makers of Love Ratri including Salman Khan. And inevitably, the title of the film has now been changed.

Salman Khan changed the title from Love Ratri to Love Yatri captioning it The Journey of Love . Salman Khan took to his Instagram page and unveiled a new poster with the new title of the film which did leave us puzzled. As evident as it is, it is probably the pressure about the police case and the cultural tag to it might have forced the makers to change the title.

During the launch of Bigg Boss 12, Salman Khan had said that the title of the film was beautiful, and he cannot comprehend why few people have a problem with it. "Some people, I don't know who they are, have some problem with title of the film. It is a beautiful title. There is nothing more beautiful than love, so it is called Loveratri. It is not demeaning any culture. Our prime minister is from that culture. So, when you play a character, like I played a sardar in a film or I played a Haryanvi in Sultan, I do it with a lot of respect. We are making the film with Navaratri in the backdrop. We have made this beautiful film celebrating the music, colour, love and the fun of festive season," Salman Khan had said.
