Bollywood mourns the demise of BJP stalwart Sushma Swaraj

Sushma Swaraj served as the Minister of External Affairs from May 26, 2014 to May 30, 2019. 

Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj passed away on the night of August 6, leaving the nation shocked and saddened. The veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader breathed her last at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, following a cardiac arrest. She was 67 years old.

Tributes poured in for Sushma Swaraj from several Bollywood celebrities, who were devastated by the tragic news

 

Parineeti Chopra wrote that she was inspired by the leader on a personal level.

 

 

Riteish Deshmukh recalled meeting Sushma Swaraj during the making of his debut film Tujhe Meri Kasam.
