Hyundai AH2 Santro Official Sketch Released

Hyundai has released the first official sketch of the upcoming AH2 hatchback (or as you and us know it, the Santro). Hyundai says the design represents the company’s ‘Respect for the Past and Confidence of the Future’, meaning there will be some signature Hyundai design features as well. The sketch of the car’s silhouette shows a modern, tallboy hatchback with a prominent shoulder line that features a kink. Hyundai is also inviting people to submit potential names for the car, with one lucky winner taking the car home. More details on the Hyundai AH2/Santro are expected to be released or leaked in the coming days.

Hyundai has released the first official sketch of the upcoming AH2 hatchback (or as you and us know it, the Santro). Hyundai is also inviting people to submit potential names for the car, with one lucky winner taking the car home. The sketch of the car’s silhouette shows a modern, tallboy hatchback with a prominent shoulder line that features a kink. Other design features we can speculate on include a high-mounted headlamp, a stylish bumper insert which may surround the fog lamps, bold highlights over the wheel arches, a tall tail lamp and a low rear bumper. Hyundai is calling this design ‘Rhythmical Tension’ where a lot of cuts and creases are used to create an in-motion-while-standing look. The kink in the shoulder line could translate to the final production model featuring a larger rear window, which should look funky and also let in a lot more light to make the cabin feel bigger. Hyundai says the design represents the company’s ‘Respect for the Past and Confidence of the Future’, meaning there will be some signature Hyundai design features as well. Hyundai promises the AH2/Santro will a spacious family car with an uncompromised exterior design. More details on the Hyundai AH2/Santro are expected to be released or leaked in the coming days. So, stay tuned to ZigWheels.
